Ok, I just saw the new Samantha Brown Disney special the other night. She made a stop at one of the countries in Epcot for a frozen orange slushie with I think frangelica in it maybe? Whatever it was, I want one as soon as I hit world showcase next week!! What country is it in, and is it as good as it looked?

I think it was the Grand Marnier Slush. DW likes it -- I prefer the 1664.

Oh sorry -- at the kiosk in France

Thank you...whats the 1664, do I want one of those too?

1664 is the beer they sell in France .. Kronenbourg 1664 - I like that a lot, too.

They sell Grand Marnier Slushies and Grey Goose Citron slushies as well ... both are quite good!

What!?!? Nobody's answered yet! I'm first, I'm first, I'm first.....hehehehe

Anyways.... back to your question, it was I believe a Grand Marnier Orange Slushee, and can be found in the the France Pavilion at EPCOT. Some other Dis-ers also report that the Grey Goose Citron Slushee (found at same place) -- a frozen lemonade-vodka drink is also tasty. Methinks DH & I will have to get one of each & share. :thumbsup2

It's beer very good beer. Kronenberg or something like that. 1664 is easier to spell:lmao:

Ok then... I will have one of each please!! Cheers!

Grand Marnier slushie question. If you buy drinks at a "kiosk", do you mean you can buy alcoholic drinks and walk around with them in the park? For some reason I thought you could only buy booze in restaurants or bars, etc. Just wondering.

Yup. That's one of the things I like best about Epcot. Ever hear about the Beers of the World ride? My favorite!

Well, that's pretty cool. I had no idea. Last year when I went to Disney (which was the first time since the 70's when I was a kid), I traveled with my kids (so no drinking) and I also came down the flu our first day there. I was especially sick the day we went to Epcot, so we never even got past the very first section of the park. I didn't see the countries at all, so I wasn't aware.

This time I'm traveling with just my boyfriend (who is a bartender), and hopefully will not have the flu again, so I would enjoy a cocktail or two.

:rotfl2: Im just the opposite. I normally am not a drinker, but I love to indulge at Disney to deal with my kids! (and the free designated drivers are a bonus!)

have to agree with Poohgirl.....

as I always say "I'm not DRIVING the bus...just riding on it"

:drinking1

have a great time...and I too plan to indulge in one of those slushies...not sure how I missed them in the past :)
