Does anyone know the purpose for the orange floats that are about 100 yards off shore at Serinity Bay?
A recent post regarding sharks sounded like someone though these were nets that protect the adult beach from things like sharks. THIS IS NOT THE CASE!
I've swam out as far as these floats (not much beyond) and all you see is an orange ball about 2 ft in diameter chained to a large weigth on the sea floor in about 8 ft of water. I'm guesstimating at measurements here, I didn't have a ruler with me.
