My sister and BIL have traded in their timeshare for the week between Christmas and New Years at the Marriott Royal Palms and have invited us (me, DH, DS age 8, DS age 6) to stay with them. First question- is there room for the 4 of us in the second bedroom? I know there's the queen bed for DH and me and one daybed, but is there room for a twin air mattress as well? I know there's a pull-out sofa in the living room, so I suppose we could put the kids to bed in the bedroom then move one or both of them to the living room. Only problem then is when BIL is up at the crack of dawn and isn't free to roam their condo. Fortunately our kids are early risers, but they could be exhausted and sleep in (I'm dreaming).
Second question- other than another room at Royal Palms (if we could get one for that week), what would be the best option for my parents who want to join us as well? They will rely on our transportation so we'd like them to be nearby. Is the Marriott World Center their best option? Are there any rental homes in that area? We typically rent a house in Windsor Hills and all of us stay there, but it would seem silly to do that when my sister already has a 2-bedroom condo. Financially, though, a rental townhouse is cheaper than most Marriott hotels.
