It is pay as you go, regardless of your UY. You can either pay in full in advance in January or pay as you go by paying monthly. If you give Disney the fees for the whole year up front, they will eat the cost of allowing you to use a credit card. If you pay as you owe/go, then you have to pay cash via direct debit.Right now, however, we just have it deducted from our checking account each month. I think it's lovely that they allow it this way, and since we have a Feb use year it's almost like we're paying as we go. (would feel different with a Dec UY, I imagine)
Dues are paid on an annual basis, not a UY basis. In other words, those with a Dec UY are not paying in January for Dec 1, 2012 - Nov 30, 2013, but are paying for Jan 1 - Dec 31, 2012 like everyone else. The difference is just the way their UY overlaps with the calendar year. Their 2012 dues cover the last 11 months of their 2011 UY and the first month of their 2012 UY. With a Feb UY, your 2012 dues cover the last month of your 2011 UY and the first 11 months of your 2012 UY.
