Options for November visit??

Thought I'd throw out our situation and see what might come up as possible solutions.


We booked a 2bd at BWV for November 5th-10. We have asked 2 different couples to join us. Couple 1 can't make it and Couple 2 hasn't given us an answer yet (doesn't look good though). So, it will most likely be just the two of us (DH & myself) and we don't need a 2bd. I haven't called MS yet, but I'm probably guessing that there aren't any 1bds left at BWV for that week (F & W festival is going on during that time). We really wanted to stay at BWV so that we could walk to Epcot everyday.


Um... any suggestions??

Call MS on Monday and see - maybe there is a 1 bedroom available. You can check BCV, too. (Of course, you realize that if there is a 1 bedroom available when you call and you actually cancel the 2 bedroom and book the 1 bedroom, Couple #2 will call you tomorrow and say they are coming, LOL).

If nothing is available at BWV or BCV, get on the waitlist - maybe you'll get lucky. There is still time for a wiatlist to work. If it doesn't, you can just keep the 2 bedroom and you are no worse off than you are today.

Could you possibly rent out the studio portion of your two bedroom - just keep the connecting doors locked between the units during your stay?

Actually, that's probably not a good idea since the reservation is under your name and therefor you'd be responsible for any additional charges made in the studio portion of the two bedroom. If you did rent it, it would have to be to someone who is very honest and trustworthy.

ANd the KTTW /room ID cards would open the door to both the 1 bedroom side and the studio side. Also, unless both groups wanted (or both didn't want) the Dining Plan, that would also be a problem.
