I need some help on finding great cupcakes because I have a dilemma. I have a reservation for Yak and Yeti for lunch on our AK day. I was trying to keep AK to a half day anyway, but I just scored a BOG reservation for the same day at 2:25 and I just think it's too close, especially if we are at AK longer than I planned (which is ok-I'm going with the flow on this vaca). My daughter just wants to try the cupcakes at BOG and I really do not want to cancel Yak and Yeti because I have read such great things about it. So, where else could I find a great cupcake?

Cupcakes at Pizza Planet and at Starring Rolls at MGM (Disney Studios) are way better than at BOG. Last year they also had an Olaf carrot cake cupcake at Starring Rolls. I hope Starring Rolls has not been replaced by a Starbucks...

The wonton dessert is 100000 Times better Then any cupcake at yak and yeti after one bite you can Die and your Life is complete...

But If she want a good cupcake you can go at Starring rolls at Hollywood studios or try a cupcake in a Glass at cheshire cafe in MK

Starring Rolls in Hollywood Studios. It's great! Butterfinger cupcakes, red velvet cupcakes, chocolate and peanut butter - the list seems endless!

The cupcakes at BOG were not something to rave about in my opinion. I enjoyed my entree, but dessert was lacking, def wouldn't go there just for that. Starring Rolls for sure! Mmmmm

Am hoping for the carrot cake Olaf cupcake at Starring Rolls again. Had it in December and it was magnificent. Could make do with the Butterfinger one from there if necessary. I have 1 cupcake treat every visit.

The Masters Cupcake at BOG is my favorite, but I wouldn't change my plans for it. You can get other good cupcakes at Starring Roles in HS.

Switch your reservations to Caribbean Beach and get the Monkey Cupcake ;)

At AK, Kusafiri Bakery near Tamu Tamu has awesome cupcakes, not to mention the brownie paw. We had the cotton top tamarin, which was white and dark/milk chocolate. It was great, but I can't tell if they still sell it. DS had the brownie paw. It was huge. It was a very moist brownie with I think cream cheese as the paw print on top.

Oh MY!! That looks tasty - what's in it?

It's fried wontons (sweet cheese inside) with grilled pineapple chunks on skewers (3 wontons by skewer) served with honey english cream and strawberries and a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

I am for real about to do some digging into Disney World's different cupcakes. Lol. I recently visited Disneyland, and couldn't wait to try their 60th anniversary ones. It was "meh"... the topping, wasn't really a frosting, more like a gelatin feeling mousse? The filling inside was lacking, so it was dry, with a weird topping taste. I find that often with Disney desserts I walk away a little disappointed, like they look amazing, and are sort of OK. Your basic buffet dessert problem. But man, would I love to find an amazing cupcake! Keep suggestions coming, the ones above look yum!
