Hi, I am starting to plan an October 09 trip and it will be our first time not staying on property. After reading many positives about Windsor Hills, I think thats where we are going to stay. I like The Black Pearl through Option Villas but don't seem to come up with any information when I do a search on it. Has anyone used them before? I figured if anyone knew it would be the Dis so it makes me a little nervous that I don't find any threads mentioning it.
Thanks

Thanks for your reply. Is there anyone in particular you liked? We are looking for 5 or 6 bedrooms.

This is the 6 br we stayed in and it was nice, maybe not as nice a game room as some others but it had just been finished a couple of months before we were there. It's in the newer reserve section so quite a ways from the clubhouse if that matters to you. http://www.vrbo.com/82681
You can tell if the home is in the reserve section by the type of roof it has. All those have slate tile roofs whereas those in the original section have regular black shingle roofs. All of the homes have been built from 2005 and there are some still being built now in the reserve section.
This 5 br got good reviews on here from a couple of different threads: http://www.mickeyscondo.com/clubhouse/
If you want lots of themeing then this one is great. We tried to get it but it was booked for our dates:

Just checked the website and see that they have two 6 br homes now.
There's so many that it's hard to pick out one. Just pick out a few and contact the owners for a quote or any questions you have. You can search the county tax records to verify ownership and even put a post on here to see if anyone has stayed in that particular home.
If you have any other questions just post them and I or someone else will answer them if we can. Good luck and have fun looking. :)
Can you post the website for The Black Pearl.

Thanks so much for the information. I have requested information from some owners but it is a little overwehlming trying to narrow down the choices. Here is the website to The Black Pearl www.optionvillas.com . It is under Estate Villas. I really like the home but It is already booked for our dates :sad1: .

That's a strange website. Emerald Island and Windsor Hills would be classed as a resorts because of the community clubhouse and pool but the homes are under the Estate Villas ( Woodys Round Up and Black Pearl). The home under the resorts is at Emerald Island. ( can tell by shape).
