I can only comment on Chefs de France. We ate there for dinner - 6 adults and 3 kids. The atmosphere is nice, bright (not dark like Le Cellier), and relaxing. That was nice after all the hustle and bustle around in the parks. All the adults thought the food was just okay but not great - No urgent cravings that make us want to come back anytime soon. Onion soup was bland. The best part of the meal was the creme brulee.

Can only comment on The Wave and Rose and Crown.

Tried Rose and Crown twice, didn't like it the first time but DS did, the second time liked it a lot better. DH loved his fish and chips, and I really liked dessert too.

The Wave had top notch service and a great menu. The food is wonderful - we will be going back to that one again. :)

I love San Angel Inn. The ambiance and food is fantastic! Note: I am a huge fan of authentic Mexican food. I had the filet with the plantains, and it was phenomenal. We also had a couple of their appetizers which we paid for OOP, but I can't remember what they were. Their guacamole is good as is their salsa. Now their margaritas...you must try one!

Just tried Nine Dragons on 12/14 and it was ok. Service was outstanding and the inside of the restaurant looks very cool. Food was definitely edible. We had the potstickers (yum), Shrimp w/spinach noodles (ok, would order again), Nine Dragons fried rice (just eh, would order something else next time), and the boys had the egg rolls (yum), sweet and sour chicken (ok) and red bean ice cream (ok).

My mom and I ate at the Rose and Crown during our August trip. This was one of our favorite meals. We sat outside on the patio and watched the fireworks AMAZING. We both had the fish and chips they were very good and the portion was huge, we could have shared 1 meal. Nice dinner

We ate at Rose & Crown in 2006 and found it to be pretty good but I can get better fried fish here in WNY. I would like to try it again. Had lunch at San Angel Inn in October and it was one of the best meals of our trip!!! EVERYTHING was fantastic - from the appetizers to dessert!! I will definitely eat there again!!!:thumbsup2

I can comment on three of the restaurants you mentioned.

Nine Dragons is probably the worst place we have ever tried at Disney. Perhaps coming from the New York area has me spoiled, but I can find exponentially better Chinese food on a random street corner for literally half the price. Not to say that the fare at Nine Dragons is awful, but it's absolutely not worth wasting a coveted Disney meal unless even mediocre Chinese is unavailable in your hometown.

Les Chefs de France is solid. Nothing special, but definitely worth trying. The atmosphere absolutely enhances the experience. Take a look around and try to imagine eating at a cute street cafe in Paris. I like the lobster bisque, but the rest of the food was just decent. The service and environment are wonderful, but the food doesn't quite meet expectations.

Hollywood & Vine is perhaps the most standard, nondescript restaurant on property. It's a basic buffet without few defining qualities. We had dinner there several years ago as part of the Fantasmic! Dinner Package, and I can barely remember the meal. I know we left relatively satisfied and without complaint, but I wouldn't necessarily go back, especially considering the other options at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
