opinions wanted! HH or BWV for 1 night?

Here's our situation: We will be going on the 4 day cruise in February. We will arrive the day before the cruise, and stay at AKL on cash and visit one of the parks. We will then head off on the cruise the next day. On the day the ship returns(which happens to be Valentine's Day), we have one night booked in a 2 BR at BWV to relax before heading home the next day (we will be driving all the way back to MI!). Here's where I'm stuck: I have been reading so many positive things about HH that I really want to check the place out. I'm wondering if I should cancel BWV, and book a room at HH instead.

HH pros: see someplace new, very relaxing, shortens drive home, fewer points, might like it enough to do add-on
HH cons: too chilly to swim, off-season, 5 hour drive from port, kids might miss BWV(?), might like it enough to do add-on

BWV pros: already know we love the place, have APs, Valentine's day at WDW, probably warm enough to swim, 1 hour drive from port
BWV cons: longer drive home

We will also be at BWV for 1 week next July, then again at Xmas in 2002.

Where would you stay the night after the cruise?

I kind of like the idea of shortening your drive home after HH. Since you have a couple trips to BWV planned , this would be a great time to check out HH. As for being able to swim, you already will have been able to swim at AKL and on the cruise. Good luck with your decision.

We were at HH this past V-Day (also our anniversary) and we had a fantastic time. By the way, the pool is heated, and yes, we did swim. Either way, BWV or HH, you should have a great time!!!

Thanks for talking me into it! I switched our ressie from BWV to a 2 BR at HH today. Looks like a great place to unwind after the cruise!
