opinions/question?

i had to do some mixing of our currently may 7-17 BWV ressies due to airfare/times - originally we were leaving on the 18th.
our flight out on 5/17 is at 8:25PM (DME probably about 5:30ish). i still have the ressie for the night of the 17th, and am debating keeping it. benefit is we could just go back to the room to rest/relax (tho not sure we would on the last day: we tend to try to soak up every last ounce of "magic" ).
so the questions/opinions:
- think we should keep the 5/17-18 reservation, tho we will check out around 5pm on the 17th?
- and, if i do decide to cancel it, will that be a problem if i had already done on-line checkin for the entire stay?

the points used (17pts - BW view studio) will go back into my regular use year, and can be banked if i cancel before april 1st - so i would like to make a decision prior.

If you can afford to keep the room, I would.

Then you can leave the suitcases in there and shower late if need be, go back and change into leaving clothes, and a dry outfit if you swim ect.. and just pick your bags up to leave.

If you were tight for points it would be an easy cut, if you needed the points.

we're always in borrowing mode (despite 400 points - we are reducing room sizes b/c of fewer guests, so hope to catch up).
but then again, the luxury of not being "homeless" for at least 6 hours....

The dues for those 17 points equate to about $100. Does that help with your decision?

I'd also keep the last night because I would not like to be homeless for 6- 7 hours, especially if we were going to use the pool that last day.

We always have late flights on the way home, and I've never missed not having the room. We get packed up and leave the room around 10:30am, do airline check-in and then have bell services hold any carry-ons. We always want to enjoy every last second of the "last" day so I don't think we'd go back to the room even if we could. That being said though, we're not big swimmers so pool time doesn't factor in.

You say it is a BW view I assume that is Boardwalk view. That is 20 points for Friday night. 17 is for standard view. I am cheap with my points, but that is me. You also stated " we're always in borrowing mode" if the points are borrowed I do not think they can be banked so that would make up your mind right there.
