After playing around with my reservations for a few months now, I think I have them in place. I'm taking my mom (just the two of us) the end of May/beginning of June. Mom's not a picky eater, but not an adventurous one either. She loves the characters. I think she had more fun than the kids our last trip.

Arrive Sat. night around 8 pm. We'll probably just grab a snack and have an early night.

Sunday - Narcoossee's for dinner
Monday - Biergarten for dinner
Tuesday - No TS planned. We're going to US/IOA for the day (Mom's a HP fan)
Wednesday - Breakfast at Akershaus and a late lunch at Le Cellier
Thursday - Cape May Cafe for dinner
Friday - Coral Reef for dinner
Saturday - Crystal Palace for breakfast and Chef Mickey's for dinner.

I'm going to pay for one breakfast OOP since Narcoossee's is a 2TS dinner. We have park hoppers, so there won't be an issue going to Epcot just for dinner and the rest of the evening.

So, does everything look good, or are there other restaurants I should consider?

It looks really good, the only thing i might think of changing is coral reef. But just because im not a big fan doesnt mean you wont. I would switch it with Tempan edo. Other than that, very tasty and fun. :cool1:

Not sure of the two big character buffets in one day but it may be perfect for you with a light CS snack in between.

Chef Mickey's is LOUD. Not sure I would go there without kids. The buffet is just OK and the toddler's wandering around with full plates are a hazard.

Coral reef is OK but WS has better restaurants. We LOVE sitting outside at Tutto.

I would take off Coral Reef as well. We enjoyed in the past but last Sept it wasn't good at all. Mom's food wasn't cooked right (steak-had to send it back) and then it came back cold. Our server wasn't friendly either. I'm sure it could have been an off night ( I know everyone has them) but I would be upset. As far as character meals-I think Garden Grill is nice. The food and characters come to you so you never miss anyone!
Good luck and have a great trip!

Thanks everyone!

Chef Mickey's is a must do. It's one of Mom's favorites. Our CP ADR is a 8 am and Chef Mickey's is a 6 pm so I have enough time between the two of them. We'll just get a snack in the afternoon.

Teppen Edo is out. I love it, but I know Mom won't. She's not an adventurous eater at all. Mexican is out too because she doesn't like anything spicy. There's a great italian restaurant right near her home and she's never set foot in it (DH and I have eaten there several times). According to her "she can eat spaghetti at home."

I'll have to check out an alternative to Coral Reef. The last time I ate there (2008) it was very good. Any suggestions? It doesn't have to be in Epcot because we have hoppers. It doesn't even have to be in a park. She really likes Chinese. How's 9 Dragons? I've never eaten there.
