My family of 5 and I are traveling to Disney Dec 8-16 and staying at the Poly! :goodvibes Ohhhh-I just can't wait!! Here is what I have put together for an itinerary-could you please let me know what you think? I would SO appreciate it. ;)

MK MVMCP day Plaza 5pm

Weds dec 15: Greatest hits day Ohana's 730am

Thurs dec 16: Pack and fly....ME picks us up around 10am :guilty:

We are on the regular dining plan....have been to disney twice-so trying a few new places and some old favorites. Not sure if I've just packed way too much in?? My kids are troopers at Disney and like the fast pace. We also do make time to swim in there~ What do you thinkg??
Thanks!!!!
Jen

Well, I'll take a shot at it! :)

Looks like a really full itinerary, but you said you guys have been before and like the fast pace. I guess you should just be prepared to slow down or skip something if someone (or everyone, LOL) gets too overwhelmed. A couple of things...what is BBB for DH? I thought I knew my acronyms, but I'm thinking BBB is either Bibbity Bobbity Boutique or Bed Bath and Beyond, neither of which my own DH would be interested in, LOL! :rotfl: Is it the Boutique for your DD?

Also, I see you have MVMCP for Tues. 12/14, but then an early b-fast at 'Ohanas the next morning at 7:30. I know my own troops would rebel at being up really late the night before and having to get up early, but I guess it depends on late you guys will actually stay at the MVMCP.

Hope you have a wonderful trip!! :cool1:

Thanks so much for your opinion!! Yes the boutique for my DD-not DH, LOL! He puts up with a lot, but I think he would draw the line there! :rotfl:
This is our longest trip yet! Hoping to make it a bit more relaxing :lmao:
If this were your trip....where would you cut down?
TIA,
Jen

In looking it over again, I doubt I would cut anything out. It sounds full, but very doable. When we go (meaning me, DH and 2 kids) we are in the parks every day, but I rarely have anything specific scheduled except for the occasional ADR because we like to kinda wing it. MK must be your family favorite, because you have a few visits scheduled there. We do the same with Epcot, lol. BTW, what is PF at 7pm before MK's EMH? I can't figure that one out!

I should have put 1900 PF (Park Fare) :goodvibes
When I typed out the schedule it looked better-after I hit enter, it kind of mushed everything together- :confused3
I am considering changing the Ohana's time-or swapping Tuskers with Ohana and just starting our last day at AK.....
We can sleep on the plane ride home....right? :lmao:
Jen

Yeah, I would probably make the 'Ohana ADR for a bit later in the morning on 12/15 vs. trying to change the AK day, unless you would already be in AK for your greatest hits day (I love that, btw! :)). But if you're staying at the Poly, 'Ohana is right there and you wouldn't have to be up and out too early to get to the AK and Tusker House to make an ADR. Just my .02. :flower3:

I'm going to run it by my family and see what they think! ;) Yes-greatest hits day is fun and we are TRULY spent at the end of it! We always start in AK and hit every park and favorite ride from there...it is a whirlwind day-but so much fun to do! Have to get our fill of our favorites :woohoo:
Thanks SO much for your help! I would have never considered the obvious without you!! :worship: (My family will be thanking you too, when I don't make them suffer through only 6 hours of sleep!) :scared1:
Jen

Happy to help! :thumbsup2 We'll be there right before you guys, from 11/25-12/5. Hope you have a great trip! :)

Cool!! :thumbsup2 Hope you have a great time as well! I love that time of year!:lovestruc
The whole thing (dining) has been revamped! We've decided not to plan anything the last day-then we can play it by ear! :rotfl: Changed HW&V to Brown Derby...menu scares me a bit! Oh well-something new!!
Thanks again~
Jen

Yep, I like the idea of having the last day as a greatest hits and "play it by ear" day. I think we may do something like that as well (so thanks, you helped me too! lol :goodvibes). The only thing is, we'll probably have to steer clear of the MK on our last day due to the Chrismas parade taping. Don't like big crowds! :scared1:

We changed our dates for that very reason! I don't think I want to be near MK on taping days!

It sounds like you've been at this time of year before, but if not, be aware that the weather can be anywhere from 80s to 40s and all in the same week. You might need to be flexible with your swim days in case of cooler weather, and you'll definitely want a jacket or some blankets to snuggle under for your movie night.

I like your choices:thumbsup2. Wish I could go. Don't see anything I would change. And the Poly! Have a great time. (and at first I couldn't figure out greatest hit day-love it).

Most definitely!! Thanks for the tips-we ended up purchasing about 3 blankets on our last trip! :rotfl:

Thanks!! I know-I can't wait 9 days at the Poly!! Could it get any better? I keep telling myself that so saving for two years seems worth it~
