Hi there, I'd like some advice please.
We are going to DW end of May/beginning June, then taking a cruise beginning of Dec. (Wonder)
My family and I LOVE DW and I know buying into the DVC is the right thing for us.
I've gotten DH to agree to talk to a Guide at one of the desks I'm sure we'll see at DW (staying at WL).
If we buy this June can we apply points towards cruise? I know its not the most $$saving decision, (applying points to cruise) but it's one way for me to convince DH to do this NOW! If we have to put down $$ for DVC then $$ in Oct. for Dec cruise it seems kind of silly. Can we pay half cruise with points, half with cash? If we've already booked cruise can we still use points to pay for it?
Also, what would be the minimum downpayment and if we put dp in June, when could we start using points? Can you do some kind of payment plan without using a bank?
I'd like to take advantage of the BCV incentive going onright now. So I guess we need to move ind of quick.
Ok now that I've totaly confused you (and me), I'd really appreciate any help.
I live in Caribbean which makes communication by phone very expensive. Maybe someone has email addy of a guide that would be willing to meet us in DW or at least explain all this to me??
