Opinions please re: Hanukkah gift for "new friend"

I met a guy on Eharmony about 3 months ago, and while we've e-mailed and talked via telephone many times, we've only seen each other once (both of our lives are overscheduled). Our second date is either this Sunday or Monday.

Should I bring him a Hanukkah gift? I was thinking of something small. I bought a candy dish and Hanukkah candy (silver and blue foil balls and gold coins) for my boss' and have enough to give some to him. We didn't agree to exchange gifts, and obviously this is VERY EARLY in the relationship (if there will be one).

What do you think?

Something small would be nice. Don't get something too big b/c he will probably feel awkward. If nothing else, give him a card wishing him a happy Hanukkah.

Something small and non-personal would be fine. A gift to a friend.
