To start off, I have a Dom Perignon taste on a Pabst Blue Ribbon Budget!!!! I would love the D200, but that isn't reality. I have been looking at a D100 for sale and was wondering what the pro's and con's of this camera are.

Any input, good and/or bad would be appreciated!!!

The D100 is a very capable camera and will offer you an excellent platform for your shooting for long time. Nikon, like all the camera manufactures have made giant strides in technology in the last few years. It's an old technology but still a nice camera.

The 70-300mm lens is good, but you're going to need something a bit more wide angle as well. The CF card is pretty small too. With the prices they're at now, a 4gig is pretty cheap!

If you can afford it and it works, go for it!!

What are they asking for it?
