this is very last minute but I am nervous about the cabin we were "upgraded" to.

we booked cat 11 and were upgraded to a cat 10 deck 7 very forward it is a corner room which is good

today several cat 11's deck 6 became available and one is a corner room mid-ship perfect location.

the cat 11 is only 185 sq ft and the 10 is 214 but the bed is placed different.

what would you do? I am worried I'll be worn out from all the trips to and from the pool/scoops/ topsiders ~ basically everything...lol

I'd stay with the cat. 10 on deck 7. This is my favorite deck because it's closer to the top. There are also fewer rooms on deck 7 than on deck 6, so it may be a bit quieter.

In the end, there won't be too much difference. The ship isn't that big. The cat. 10's on deck 7 aren't really that far from the forward elevators/stairs. My advice would be to stick with the bigger room.

I don't know how many are in your party but we were 2 adults with 2 8 yr. olds and loved the cat 10 with the extra sink! We were in the room only to sleep and shower it was perfect!. We had a secret porthole room so we were forward. It only bothered me and that was only when the seas were rough any way. Also we thought forward elevators were faster to catch but we used the stairs alot! Have a great time!!!

But we stayed in a Category 9 aft on Deck 2 and with a hweel chair mother and 4 and 16 month DS's never felt anything was far away. Maybe it is just me but everything seemed a elevator or stair step away. I also liked being away from the crowds :) Our stateroom #2108 was sooooooooo quiet. I have booked it again and the one next door for our 10/26/03 cruise :) :) :)

Good luck deciding!

We were in a category 8 on the 6th floor and loved it. We were 2 adults and 2 children ages 13/15. We had plenty of room and loved the split bath as 3 of us are women.
Wish I were going again, have a great trip in any room
Andrea

I forgot about the split baths. That is a big plus, even if you're only a party of two. In the category 10 and above rooms, there are separate bathrooms, one with toilet and sink, and one with shower and sink. It makes getting ready for meals a lot easier.

when I told my DH what I was considering he asked if I'd lost my mind! lol I think I may have...ha ha I guess I am just over thinking everything.

thanks for the reply's and I will try to be more selective with my questions:rolleyes:
