Opinions please....BLT/SSR trip planning

I know it's all a matter of opinion, but I'm really stuck with this one and have to decide by 8am tomorrow! Can you help me decide!?

Which would you do....

Use free Dev. pts. at SSR in late Aug. and then move over to BLT (8 nt. trip)

OR stay at BLT for 4 nts. in Dec. for the Xmas dec. (We've been at Xmas-time before).

(We're also planning and end of Mar. 2010 trip).

Taking into consideration weather, crowds, and the fact we'll be back down in Mar. WHAT SHOULD I DO? Not sure why I'm so conflicted on this one!

I'm not sure if you'd like to go for a longer period of time and are shortening it due to points only, but I'll tell you what I'm doing - using my free developer points at SSR first. We have MANY years of BLT use ahead of us but the developer points will expire relatively soon. My next trip (next year), definitely BLT!
