Opinions on two different FP+ strategies

I think I have most of our FP+ strategies figured out but am stuck on one day.

Day 1 of our trip we will be doing EMM.

Strategy 1: Make FP for 9/10/11 for three rides that seem to get a bigger wait of the things we will do (Pirates, HM, Jungle Cruise). We are taking a break 11-2. When we come back at 2 we would do small rides like Dumbo and Under the Sea until dinner at 5. Hope for 4th FP+ on for these rides.

Strategy 2: Do small rides early in the day 9-11 and hope that due to the rides popularity and time of day its short stand by lines. Make FP for 11/2/3 to save time in lines on pirates, jungle cruise, HM in the afternoon. Maybe get 4th FP on after the 3pm FP.

We will only be doing rides with no height restriction!

I personally would do option 1. I like to use my fp and then have the option to get additional FP after the break.

I'm always a proponent of doing FPs early and just bounce FP+ to FP+ all day long and hope for the best.

What time does the park open that morning? I usually RD and have the first FP scheduled about an hour after the park opens. That gives me an hour + to ride what I want before the lines get too long. Then move into my FPs and modify mode.
If the park opens at 7 or 8, I would do option 1.

We do option 2 (although when we scheduled daytime Fps it was more like 11/12/1) but part of that is I like to have a very specific plan. We had a week and pretty much wanted to do everything so knowing how it all would fit together was best for my temperament. We had TP trip plans of 25-40 items per day which covered pretty much everything... and went off without a hitch. I liked knowing the plan. We got extra Fps several times but they were never necssary for the plan to work and I preferred it that way.

I would go with option 1. The afternoon rides you mentioned are easy to get 4th+ FPs for.
