We decided to cancel the Star Wars dessert party, so we are looking for a TS to sit and have a break on a very long parks day. I set up a TP alert for an ADR. Is it any good? We know nothing about it, but the menu looks yummy.

We’ve eaten there twice and I like it. I’ve had the steak and the chili lime salad. Kids usually get burgers. DH got one of the sandwiches. Over the holidays they had a peppermint shake that was amazing!

We LOVED SciFi Dine In. Highly recommend whatever specialty burger they’ve got. I had the Boursin burger which was a fried Boursin cheese patty on top of a delicious beef burger. Have also seen a really great looking Southern burger with piemento cheese on the boards. Delicious fries too. Just like at Be Our Guest with the steak.

It’s hands down the best table service (non signature) in HS in our opinion.

We love the atmosphere. The kids definitely wanted to do that one again over trying prime time. I don’t like burgers so my choices are more limited, but I remember I liked my meal (don’t remember what it was though lol)

It's a must do for us. It is probably the most themed restaurant in all of WDW. We love the inside, the details, the story. Stick to the basics, DS always gets a burger, I get the reuben. LOVE the Out of this World Turtle Cheesecake!

Had steak once .........

The Boursin burger is outstanding. I wish it would be available all the time instead of only occasionally as a seasonal special.

How strongly flavored is the rye bread? I wonder if they have white or wheat I could get instead.

If I can't get one for next week I will have to make a point to get it for September. We had a lot of choices for last minute ADRs in November, so fingers crossed!

We are not a fan of SciFi at all just to give another opinion. The atmosphere is dark and if you have 3 people they will still sit you in the cars. My 11 year old son had to sit by himself for dinner which we didn't like. The food was meh and the service wasn't much better (slow and got the order wrong). It is hard to keep your plates on the table due to the size of the table in the cars. This was our second time there just to try it again to see and we will not go back. There really isn't a good TS in HS except Brown Derby but that is more expensive than regular dining.

I like rye so that is hard to answer. Honestly I think I tasted mostly the meat and salad/sauce. And bread is toasted.

Have eaten there twice, the most recent being last November & it was great both times.

This is definitely a personal choice. It's not a TS where generally everyone agrees that it's great or everyone generally agrees it's just so-so. If you like burgers, fries, and shakes then this is your place! The atmosphere is unique because you sit in a drive-in style car and watch old sci-fi clips on a giant screen. I think it's worth experiencing once.

My favorite restaurant at HS! Been trying to get a reservation for our upcoming trip - without luck so far!

With the "car" seating - you will be seated two by two facing forward. So - if you have an odd number - someone sits alone. Some folks don't like this part. The car seats also aren't super large - so if someone in your party is Pooh-sized - they might not be comfortable. They have some tables that aren't cars. You might be able to ask for one of those instead of the cars at check-in - but I'm not sure about that. It's also dark because they are playing the movie clips. It's tough for me to read the menu!

Negatives aside - I love the food and the fact that it's such a relaxed environment. It doesn't feel crowded - and even with the movie clips going - it doesn't feel that loud. So - I think its a great retreat.

I've had the salad with salmon on it, the BBQ burger, and the reuben - love all three. I've also had the fried dill pickles and the onion rings - both great.

Funny, you find the menu yummy.

I think the food is awful.

We go to Sci-Fi anyway.

Funny, we own a convertible automobile and have a drive-in movie in our hometown.

We go to Sci-Fi anyway.

My child enjoys the kitschy-nature of 50's Prime Time.

She wants to go back to Sci-Fi anyway.

Not a fan, to be honest. Hate the seating arrangement (I know, part of the theming), the food is average, and it's dark as heck. We snagged a last-minute lunch back in May after taking a few years off so that we could give it a fair shake and see if things have changed (the meal quality)....nope, still not impressed.
