Good day folks,

My family and I are starting to plan our last :( grand gatherings trip. Everyone in the family are Disney addicts. Alas, my mother is growing tired of flying and doesn't want to drive. Because of this, we are looking to trying to book some places that we have never been.

My Mom's tastes are pretty basic. She's not too experimental. Breakfast, waffles and the like. Dinner, steak, shrimp, chicken, nothing terribly spicy.

Could I have your opinion on the following:

Whispering Canyon - Dinner/ Breakfast

Rose and Crown - Dinner
To anyone who's watched illuminations from here, could you explain the best way to arrange that?

Narcoossee's - Dinner

Thanks in advance

We have eaten at all 3 restaurants. I liked all 3 but Narcoosee's wasn't anything special, The food was good, view was good, nothing really to complain about but nothing to draw me back - kwim?

WCC I really like - I like the "downhome" hearty meals but I also like the silly antics and I love the WL :)

Rose and Crown we really love. Again - hearty food - nothing spectacular but good anyway. For Illuminations - you should time your ressies to be there about an hour before Illuminations - you can REQUEST a table along the water but they cannot guarantee it. Try showing up early for your ressies and make your request and see what happens.

The only place I tried on your list was WCC, & it was pretty good. The kids had a fun time. I enjoyed the pulled pork, my DS loved the ribs. They send out all kinds of food, I do not remember everything. If you like bar-b-que you should find something you like, if you get the skillet.

We've been to about 90% of the table service breakfast places and WCC is our favorite. We don't like the dinner there quite as much, but maybe that is just us.

Skip Narcoosee's unless you can't get over the location and want to watch the fireworks. It's way overated, IMO. WCC is a hoot, good menu, something everyone can enjoy. Never eaten at RnC so no suggestions about that one.
