Opinion's on NARCOOSSEE'S and SPOODLES

DH and I are getting the dining plan from MYW for our May trip. We want to take the opportunity to try a few new places and also are picking one really nice signature restaurant. We love Jiko and Artist Point but thought about trying Narcoosee's for something different after drooling over the menu. Anyone been there lately?

Also Spoodles at the Boardwalk?

Haven't been to Narcoossee's, but LOVE Spoodles! We eat there every time we are at WDW. The food is kinda Tuscan/Meditteranean. We like to order a bunch of different appetizers and skip the entrees- kinda do our own Tapas bar thing. And the Blus Spoodle is yummy- kinda a mix of Pina Colada and Curacao Dacquiri.

I was there in Sep with a party of 10. Boy, I thought that I have high standards but their's were even higher than mine. They were staying at GF, I stayed at POR. We went to Narcoosee's and it was great - they even went back a second time. They were particularly impressed with the combination of quality of food and location/view. Having said that, they were disappointed with the rest of the outlets at GF.

I had had some hit and miss experience with Spoodles when it first opened, and didn't go back until mid-December, and WOW! Service was excellent, my server made an excellent recommendation, and the food amazing. I would have gone back had I not discovered it so late into my 2 week trip. (I am veggie, and he suggested the dip platter, for about $7 off the appy menu. It was so filling that I couldn't finish it as my main course)

I even asked for the manager on my way out and told her what good service I received as this server really knew his stuff.

We also had a really good meal at California Grill if you are considering that... good service there too.

Can't say for Spoodles but Narcoosies was very good and we enjoyed it. It is pricey but good and the atmosphere is very good.

We have been to narcoosees several times and its always been great. What I really want to know is where I can get a pair of heated flip flops like that !

On a whim in Dec and thanks to a understanding Dsil we were able to leave the kids and enjoy a night out we had been kicking around the idea of spoodles and we really enjoyed the food now the server has told me they will change the menus for the seasons but we had a wonderfull meal and the appetizers were great good atmosphere and look for the hidden mickey over the kitchen
