So me (30) and my mom (56) are headed down to Disney the end of March/first of April to get one last use out of our AP's. We will be there for part of the week after Easter with level 9&10 crowds! I have never been to Disney during one of these crowded times, so I was looking for a critique of my plans. Also my mom has 2 torn tendons in her foot, so we may be looking at our first trip ever with an ECV. We will be staying 8 nights (4 at POFQ and 4 at POLY).

March 30 (Wed)
-Check in around 5pm.
-Grab dinner either in food court at POFQ or take boat to Disney Springs and grab quick service (earl of sandwich)
-An early night (I will have just worked of a 7 day string of 12 hour nights at the hospital that morning. My bed will be calling)

March 31st (Thurs)
-AK day (rope drop)
-Lunch reservation at Yak and Yeti (mom really likes sit down meals.....)
-FP- Dinosaur,Safari, Everest (this plan could change if rivers of light/night safari happens to be open.)
-Back to room mid-afternoon to rest then dinner at Fultons at Disney springs

April 1st (Fri)
-Sleep in a little while (possible pool morning)
-Epcot by mid-afternoon (FP for TT or Illuminations, SE, ??)
-Browse F&G festival a little and eat dinner at Chefs de France
-Catch one of the weekend concerts

April 2nd (Sat)
-Sleep in for a while
-HS (FP for TS,ST,??)
-Late lunch at 50's prime time
-catch a few shows that afternoon (I might ride RRC if single rider is short. Mom doesn't ride this & we don't do ToT. Mainly just going because mom wants to eat at 50's and look in the shops, lol)
-hopefully see Star Wars fireworks if extended

April 3rd (Sun)
-Leave luggage with bell services
-Head to MK (close to RD)
-FP (SD, SM, PP)
-Lunch BOG
-Head to POLY that afternoon to check in
-Dinner at O'hanna, watch fireworks and have an after dinner drink on trader sam's patio

April 4th (Mon)
-Epcot full day
-FP for TT, SE, Nemo
-Spend lots of time at F&G
-My pre-birthday dinner at my favorite Le Cellier

April 5th (Tues)- my birthday
-Resort day at the Poly
-May make lunch ressies at Kona
-Dinner at LTT in MK
-One pre-dinner FP and 2 post dinner (7dwarves, space, haunted mansion- my 3 favorite rides)
-Wishes dessert party (my birthday cake, lol!)
-Goal is to stay until midnight close to finally see the kiss good night!

April 6th Wed- make up day
-We will probably sleep in
-Park make up day for any park we feel we didn't spend enough time.
-Will probably make FP this day for MK since we will be at the POLY (knowing us will probably be a pool day)
-Dinner at 1900 park fare (have always wanted to do this character meal!)
-Also a potential day for Rivers of light if it happens to open. Can cancel dinner reservations and eat counter service some where.

April 7th Thurs
-Check out of Poly
-8:30 am KTTK tour (another bucket list item!)
-Catch the ME to head home.

Looks good to me. I would keep a close eye on park openings and morning EMH the week after Easter. There may be some 7 am openings that week at MK and even the other parks. If so, that 7-9 am is GOLDEN, and might be worth waking up for instead of the late mornings you have planned.

I'm planning a spring trip at the same time and for the very same reason... to get one more out of my AP before it expires in May! You are way ahead on the planning though... I have just a couple ADR's booked, and will more than likely change them. Thinking of doing a tour this trip, possibly Wild Trek again, because I really enjoyed it last time I took it. Hope you all have a wonderful trip!

Looks great to me! You will LOVE the dinner at 1900! As far as fun character meals it's been our favorite!!!

On March 30 I would stick with the resort for eats and skip the boat ride to Disney Springs. As you stated you need the rest and an early night for sleep. You are doing rope drop the next day at AK and that's another reason not to venture out. I'm assuming you are doing express check-in but it could still take a while to get this done.

On April 1, I would book a dinner package which would give you guaranteed seating for the concert. I believe you can get a package deal for this.

Also, I think I would try to skip the morning sleep ins for your mom's sake. You work night shift; so, you are use to sleeping in the morning, but your mom probably gets up early. I would stick to her schedule with getting up, not yours.

Finally, please let your mom have a few choices of what to do each day.

The morning sleep ins are actually for my mom! I am a rope drop/morning person. She is the one who is not the morning person who hates to get up. I have learned when traveling with her we have a much smoother trip when I give her a few mornings to sleep in. Also her only request was plenty of pool days. Soarin' is going to be closed when we are there otherwise there would be a FP for it every Epcot day as its my mom's favorite ride. She has also picked her favorite restaurants for reservations already. I will definitely be on the look out for a dinner package for the Garden Rocks concert though. I think that weekend is supposed to be Herman's Hermits who my mom really likes. It would be a great surprise for her to have a reserved seat!
