Opinions on my dining plans???

I need some opinions and advice??? I wanted to do a dinner with just me and DH. And, I wanted to have a birthday meal for DS and DD, too....

Day 1- (Arriving at SSR)
Lunch - Room or Snack
Dinner - Counter Service at MK (Casey's, etc...)

Day 2
Breakfast - Room
Lunch - Counter Service at Epcot
Dinner - Crystal Palace

Day 3
Breakfast - Tusker House
Lunch - Snack
Dinner - Fantasmic Dinner Package: Mama Melrose or Hollywood n Vine ??

Day 4
Breakfast - Room
Lunch - Biegarten at Epcot
Dinner - Counter Service

Day 5
Breakfast - ??
Lunch - ??
Dinner - Chef Mickey's

Day 6
Breakfast - ??
Lunch - ??
Dinner - Spirit of Aloha Luau at 5:30PM

Day 7
Breakfast - ??
Lunch - ??

On day 2 since you are already at EPCOT why not eat at Biergarten instead of CP. It would save alot of traveling time especially with kids which makes mine grumpy.

Chefs de France is a nice place to eat just you and hubby, imho.

Can't you have bday celebrations at Chef Mickey's for the kids? That would be nice. In our experience the characters come the children's table who have bdays and do the celebration there.

Counter service that is a must for us is Cosmic Ray's at MK, Sunshine Seasons at Epcot, and Yak & Yeti CS at AK.

Day 2 - We are spending the morning at Epcot and MK has EMH - evening....so I was thinking early morning at Epcot, rest during early afternoon, then head to MK around 7PM-ish....

It's really hard to make restaurant suggestions without knowing your plans for that particular day. WDW is huge and traveling can be time consuming. If you have any idea on where you'll be on Days 5, 6 and 7, we can give better advice.

I was also going to suggest the change for day 2. You could probably still get to MK for EMH if you do it that way. Then I'd do CP for breakfast on another day and try to get that 8:05 ressie so you have MK all to yourself & the other diners.

Thanks! I have already changed Day 2....We are going to do Chef Mickey's for dinner, and do the birthday thing, too....Now I have to decided what kind of cake for both kids...I only want one cake.

We did Mama Melrose with the FDP and it was one of our favorite meals on the trip. I definitely recommend it.
