Opinions on my ADR's

DH and I will be making our ADR's Sunday morning, this will be our second time on the DxDDP. Please tell me what you think, suggestions, opinions, etc. Thanks!

Breakfasts- Crystal Palace, Kona, Boma and POFQ food court
Lunch- The Plaza, Yak and Yeti, Tutto Italia, Sci- Fi and a to be determined MK counter service
Dinner- Flying Fish, Brown Derby, Grand Floridian Cafe, Coral Reef, Nacrossee's, Mama Melrose, and Le Cellier.


I'm having doubts about GF Cafe dinner but DH doesn't want to do any MK table service (we have done Tonys and LTT several times before). He also did not like Kona dinner and he doesn't want to do O'hana because of noise

They sound grea to me. We've done all of them except for Kona, Tutto, Boma and Grand Floridian Cafe. The only one we didn't care for in your list was Brown Derby. We had bad service and didn't care much for the food. We are trying Boma for breakfast on our September visit for the first time.

Chill out on GF Cafe, it has a reputation as a hidden gem. I've read a number of positive reviews and comments on GF Cafe. In fact I'm taking a quickie soon and you've just reminded me that I may be able to knock this one of my wish list and make my own ADR, thanks.

Sounds great! Have you been to Yak & Yeti before? We went for lunch at noon in August and it was SOOO empty. We really enjoyed our meal. You have to get the crispy green bean appetizer!! It's delicious and soooo healthy!

Thank you for your positive comments on GF cafe, the reviews I have happened to catch have all been negative, but to each his own . I will go ahead with GF Cafe and hope it is great .

The only one on the list I can say i would never eat at again is Yak and Yeti..all of the entrees were the type of food you can pick up at your local grocery store deli counter. Not great! The beef and Broccoli was a horrible texture. The only good thing about our meal was the dessert...the cream cheese and pineapple wontons were good, although only slightly warm...

My suggestions for counter service at MK would be either Pecos Bills (the condiment bar is fun and makes the burgers fantastic) or Caseys...cause you can't beat a hot dog with sauerkraut

Le Cellier and Brown Derby are 2 of my favorites, I'm trying Boma, Tutto Italia, and Narcoossee's for the first time in August. I'd say you have a well roumded plan

We had Boma dinner in Aug 2007 and loved it, go with plenty of room in the belly, there is A LOT to try! I've booked Boma breakfast for my upcoming trip. Narcoossee's was our favorite meal, hope you enjoy.

OP - One other thing I recall reading about GF Cafe "quiet, less hustle bustle". Seems like a nice change of place from the parks and character meals.
