Opinions on July dates for one day in Disneyland

I would never normally choose July as the time of year to go to Southern California or Disneyland, but my nephew is getting married, so I'll be in town for about a week. I'm planning on meeting up with a couple of friends just to check out Galaxy's Edge and RotR and hang out at the park, and the 2 dates that work for them are Thursday, July 21 and Monday, July 25. I know nothing is "normal" or "typical" these days, but does anyone have an opinion as to which date might be the better date, or is it just 6 of one, half a dozen of the other?

I would choose the Thursday provided no special events are going on that day. Mondays are notoriously crowded (sometimes more so than weekends even).

I'd go with Thursday. Mondays seem to be busier these days.

Thursday. We have been in June and July several times. Most of our June or July has had a Monday in there, and it has always been our most crowded day. That was pre-pandemic, so who knows for this year.
