Hi Everyone,
We now can not decide whether to go covering the Halloween period in Oct or to go covering the Christmas period in Nov. Does anyone have any preferences?

Also I am a little confused about the Halloween and Christmas Partys. Can you only see Halloween/Christmas themed parades if you book those tickets or do they still have the themed parades/fireworks on days that are not the party?

Thank you :)

they still have the regular parades/fireworks on a non party day
but the special fireworks and parades held on party days are very different, and really worth it

I much prefer Halloween over Christmas. I think it's a better value for the extra money you put in for the parties.

Still if I was given the choice, I'd probably try to plan a trip spanning over the last of the MNSSHP and the first of the MVMCP to enjoy both

We've done both and enjoyed both times.

Been end of Nov/early December. You see all the parks and resorts decorated for xmas plus the extras in the parks like osbourne lights, candlelight processional at epcot. You pay extra for the xmas party.

In October MK and some resorts have halloween decorations plus you pay extra for the halloween party.

Crowds are similar at both times. Weather will be better October.

A good plan as suggested above is to go late Oct/early Nov and catch the last halloween party and then the first xmas party.

We have done both too

This year we fly nov 1 so catch the last halloween oarty and first christmas parties

I have to say i love the christmas decorations out there but then i love christmas here

Thanks everyone,
Will look into prices to go over both.
What is the weather typically like in November then? I was under the impression it was still quite warm?

We are doing both - the last Halloween party on 2nd Nov and the first Christmas party on 9th Nov.:thumbsup2

We've been in Oct, Nov and the beginning of Dec and by far our favourite time was Nov. So if you went at the end of Oct you could do both of the parties. If I had to choose one I would definitely go for MNSSHP. We enjoyed that far more than MVMCP.
