Opinions on Deck 2 (Cat 9) Please...

We have been deck 2/cat 10 on all 4 of our cruises and been very happy. It was quiet and the rooms are wonderful/ Very convenient too as most people have mentioned.

We have been on DCL 4 times & will be there again in Aug. for Repo trip from LAX to PtC. AND we are really looking forward to it!!!!! One time we booked a cabin with a veranda, but probably never again--we didn't feel it was worth the extra $$$. Sure the balcony is nice, but either your on the wrong side of the ship or its wet because of rain, etc. We enjoy people watching too from Deck 9 or 10. BUT we do book an outside cabin that has the large round porthole. That's neat especially when the seas are a little rough and water splashes up close to your porthole.

Book the cruise. We too are on the Aug repo (please come join our thread mskitty) and have a 9GTY booked. I am hoping for deck 2. We did a Cat 8 last year and the kids didn't like it at all. Too far forward and too "high" DD felt the movement much more. So we are back to our beloved cat 9.

2608-2620 or 2108-2120.......all are great...

Why 2608 and not 2606, or 2604, or 2602? We are in 2602 and 2604 next October!

I was wondering that too. We are on 2606 next month (woohoo it really is next month, felt like I would never be able to say that).
