What are the parks like between 1/2 and 1/10? This is supposed to be a less-busy time of year. Do attractions close or is there a cutback in staff? How long do Christmas decorations stay up? Would it be better to come on Christmas Day and stay for a few days, or are the days after New Year's Day a better value?

Hi,
The parks are less crowded. Some attractions do go down for rehab that month. Holiday decorations start coming down that week. The staff that does this is quite small so it takes them a couple of weeks to do all 4 parks, the resorts, and the Magic and Wonder. Christmas week is the 2nd busiest week of the year (#1 is Easter). The days after New Years are a much better value if you are not into crowds.
