Please share your opinions of Cape May Cafe at the BC with me. :)

We ate dinner there on NYE and really enjoyed it. They have a 4-sided buffet with plenty of choices. One side was salads, one was mostly seafood, one had other meats and hot food, and the 4th side was all desserts. There's also a "kiddie" part of the buffet with good options for kids (or big kids like me!;) ). Be sure to save room for desserts, because they have an awesome selection! You may want to get a PS if you decide to eat there, because it seems like a pretty popular place to eat. Hope to go back sometime. :D

Hi Ead!!! :)
We LOVE this resteraunt!! LOVE it!! We ate there twice on our last stay and allways eat there atleast once on any stay!)

Have eaten here several times and have definitely found the quality of food to vary. It ranges from pretty good to very good. Have been there when the clams were big and other times when they were small.....small is better! I like the clam chowder and they generally have very good desserts. The non-seafood part of the food bar is hit or miss for me. Generally, I like the restaurant and would give it a thumbs up!

This is a great buffet. We always try to hit it at opening when everything is just put out. ( I know they're good at keeping things refilled, too!) I loved the kids fried fish. They had some wonderful salads. It's one of the best buffets on property, IMO.

My DH and I love Cape May Cafe. Have eaten dinner twice and it was pretty good. We absolutely love the character breakfast! For our honeymoon, we ate breakfast there every day. Last year we ate breakfast the first two days at Spoodles, but they changed their breakfast offerings (it used to be a buffet, but no longer) After that, we ate at Cape May the rest of the week for breakfast and I suspect we'll be doing that again next week! (YEAH!)

Cape May Cafe is wonderful! We eat there for both the character breakfast and dinner a few times each trip!

Have been here three times and each time don't care for it. I think of all the Disney restaurant buffets...this one is of inferior quality.
Different strokes tho!

We love the character breakfast at Cape May. The selection is good and the food is always good. It is our second favorite breakfast (1900 Park Fare is our favorite).

My family loved it, (the dinner) large quantities, big selection, lots of desserts.
I thought it was mediocre quality, shrimp kind of rubbery & desserts looked better than they tasted.
If you are picky or into real fine dining I would go elsewhere. If you have big eaters, teenagers, I would check it out.
I am going to give the character breakfast buffet a try though my coming march visit & see how it compares, the location is surely beautiful.

Have to give a thumbs down on this one too. It was 'okay', but we were at the last seating and the characters were spending so much time at individual tables (not ours), that they only had a quick hi for us. That is understandable when the place is busy but not when we were there. Kids, DS8, and DD5 were disappointed. They had really been looking forward to it, and they loved the theme. Food again was 'okay', yes, different strokes. We really like Chef Mickeys and the Cinderella breakfast and other people hate it. So - its the toss of the hat I guess.

Out of the past 8 trips, we have eaten at Cape May Cafe Clam Bake 9 times... yeah, I guess you could say we really like it! It is the one restaurant we NEVER miss!

We enjoyed the Clam Bake last May so much were going back on our next trip. I'm not a sea food person, and I found plenty to eat. My partner loves those mussles so much I had to act like a mom and remind her to eat some veggies too.

We had an early seating and everything was hot, fresh, and plenty. The deserts were very good too.:)

How much does the dinner buffet cost for adults these days??

Thanks....

We stayed at BC May 2001 and had Cape May's character breakfast 8 out of 10 mornings. Awesome!!
We only have one seafood lover in our family but still found plenty to eat at their clambake (my DS is an extremely picky eater too!!).

Has anyone been to Cape May for breakfast lately?

Reason I'm asking - there was a server there last
time we stayed at the BC and my DS and she became friends.
We told her we would be back in 2003 but she thought she may have retired by then. I'd love to know
if Sammi is still there.

We did the dinner at Cape May in November and loved it! I believe it was $23.99 per adult for dinner. I think the kids were $9.99.

My family ate there last month and all I can say is that we LOVED, LOVED, LOVED it!!! I will definitely make this a priority on any future trip. We ate dinner there....did I say how much we enjoyed it?!? :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:
