You will be spoiled forever. I stayed in a 2 bedroom at OKW in 1999 with DVC friends. Six months later I was buying DVC, never wanting to stay in a regular room again.
Been staying there forever it seems. The rooms are huge! Me and 5 friends fit into a 2 bedroom with space to spare. It's nice because you feel like you're at home instead of a hotel. Service is great. Turtle pond is a nice area to stay in. Enjoy it!
Although we've not yet stayed in a 2 BR at OKW, we have stayed in both 1 BRs and a studio. As those are combined to make a 2 BR, I agree with everyone. You'll love it!
But the real reason I'm posting is that my husband grew up in Saint Mary's although a long time before you did looking at your signature! What a nice little town.
The 2bdrm villas are bigger than the first house my DH and I bought!!!! They really are wonderful - great theming - large patio with full table and chairs w/ ceiling fan - full sized kitchen appliances, and full size laundry w/ an actual laundry room! So Nice!!!!! You'll have a wonderful time!
All I can say is WOW -- we loved, loved, loved it! I took dd3 and met my Dad and stepmom b/c DH couldn't go on our first trip "home" to OKW. It was so perfect. We loved all of the space, and the spread-out layout which made us all feel like we had our own space. My Dad is a world-traveler of 5-star resorts, and he just couldn't say enough great things about OKW (of course, being right on the fairway didn't hurt as he is a golf nut!). We have always been a "Poly Family" -- not anymore!
We loved the kitchen, the huge covered balcony, laundry room, and large seating area with 2 couches plus a chair and ottoman. Our room was in pristine condition and everything was wonderful. Can't wait to go back and we hated to leave!!!
Just one comment. Will you have anyone sleeping on the sleeper sofa in the living room? If so, ask for one of the higher numbered buildings (I believe #21 and higher). The lower numbered buildings only have bathroom access thru one of the bedrooms. The higher numbered buildings have additional access to a bathroom without going thru a bedroom.

It is 30 and above. I doubt they will have to worry about it with 6 people, the two bedroom sleeps 6 with the king in the master and two queens in the second bedroom. There are two bathrooms. What you are referring to is access to the master bathroom through the laundry room that is only available in the units above 30 below that one would have to go through the master bedroom to get to the master bedroom bath.
