Opinions of a Trade

Just curious to see what I missed in a trade from last night. Some boy came into my room and wanted to trade a few items and after we traded he said "I cheated you" and left the room real fast. Just curious if I am mislead about the value of some items I have, so please give your opinions on these items, good or bad.
Here is what was traded:

blue HM rocker and tiki fountain for a ice cube chair and blue pirate throne chair.

I was the one who got the ice cube chair and blue pirate throne chair.

I have to agree with Bunny. But if you were happy with the trade, then no harm done!

I thought the ice cubes were less given out than both the tiki fountain and the famous HM blue rockers?

Both the tiki fountain (800 credits) and the HM rocker blue (150 credits), have been on sale since the beginning of VMK, only removed from the stores roughly about 6 months ago.

The ice (never on sale, values from 400 to 600 in trading) was only available in Feb 2006, and one quick very small host time, not many at all, maybe about 4 months ago. The Pirate Throne Blue (either 50 or 100 credits), was also on sale since the beginning of VMK, but removed when they revamped the Pirates mini-game, but is still available by winning one with a bronze key from the pirate game.

So, you are correct that the ice did not have but really one month of availability, while the throne, albeit a bit more difficult to get, is still available via POTC.

The fountain and rocker both had higher original selling prices, and have been retired for longer.. causing their values to rise quicker. (Plus demand for the fountain is high right now, because of all the tiki furniture, etc. just having been out last month.)

That is the reason, IMHO, why I think what you traded had more value.

If the tiki fountain is in high demand right now, send these people to me. I have alot of them to trade!

I have been on since Thanksgiving, and I have tons of fountains and blue rockers, but only a few ice cubes, and since I am terrible at pirates only one or two blue chairs, so I think it is a great deal. I love the ice and would trade my stuff for it.

The HM Blue rocker wasn't on sale since the beginning of VMK. It was BETA than got re-released through February 2006 and then again as a HOST_ prize for January 2007.

Like I said before.. if you were happy with the trade, it doesn't matter what the trader said! It was only my opinion, and Bunny's.. as you asked for.

As your sister puts it too.. you didn't start until just fairly recently, so yes you caught the few months that they re-released the rocker and fountain!

I would have to say the tiki fountain and ice chair have about the same value and the HM rocker is worth a bit more than the pirate throne but all in all it was not a bad trade.

I was happy with the trade because I have very few ice cubes and tons of tiki fountains and blue rockers, I have already traded away 20 or more blue rockers and still have some left. The tiki fountains I can't seem to give away.
