We have purchased the Platinum Plan with our honeymoon stay...we thought this would be a great way to spoil us....but to be honest it was expensive....but hey, you only live once! LOL!

The plan comes with a spa treatment and it states that tax and gratuity is included.....here is my question.....Since gratuity is included in the plan I purchased, do I still need to give the person at the spa an additional tip...the reason I ask is that I would feel awkward not giving one, but at the same time that is what I bought the Platinum plan for in the first place...to be all inclusive.

This holds true for sit down meals as well....the tax and gratuity is included.....

any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Not sure on this one. Maybe ask the spa when they arrive or since you have platinum plus ask one of the itinerary planners. They'd know.

Have fun!!!!

I think gratuity was included at the spa we visited while in Niagara Falls. I don't think my husband included any other gratuities, since it was already taken care of.

Personally I'm inclined to say don't bother if it is already included in the package - I would check to see how much of a gratuity is included as I do normally tip 18-20% depending on how well I thought the treatment went.

I asked our itinerary planner about tipping for the spa, parasailing, and horsebackriding. She told me that with the exception of valet, bell services, and housekeeping that all tipping is included on the plan.

HTH :D
