We're doing the DxDP and I am deliberating between one of our dinners.

Right now we have Chefs de France booked for one of our dinners. Our party is:

Me 34
DH: 39
DS: 6 (and very picky!)
DD: 4 and not picky at all
My parents
My grandmother (86!!!)
My aunt

I'm debating on:
a. keeping Chefs
b. switching to Yachtsman's Steakhouse
c. Switching to Flying Fish

What would you choose and why???

Thanks!!!!

Well Flying Fish is my favorite restaurant on Disney's Dining Plan so guess which one I would choose? I like Flying Fish because it's got excellent food for the adults to oooh and ahhh over but it has an open kitchen and a hustle/bustle trendy vibe to it that will keep your younger diners entertained.

Yachtsman Steakhouse is okay. An 86 year old would probably love the low key vibe there but the kiddos may be horribly bored. And the food, while okay, is not as good as Flying Fish and very one dimensional, you gotta like beef here. (Flying Fish has an excellent steak for the steak lovers).

Chefs de France has decent food but this place can be hit or miss and the tables are packed in there, all that glass makes it noisy. I enjoy Chefs if we hit it on a day where it's not busy but almost hate it on days when it's busy.

I would stay at Chefs. It was our favorite meal in Nov! We went with our DDs ages 7 and 4 at the time and they loved it as well. They both had chicken and pasta.. noodles plain with the chicken fingers on top and sauce on the side, so it was really 2 separate entrees. Then they shared our desserts. My 4 yr old ate my entire creme brulee. The 7 yr old shared the creme puff dessert which was also good. DH & I loved our meal as well. I had the baked mac an cheese and he loved the french onion soup. Forgot what his main meal was. I would definitely stick w/Chefs.

While I LOVE Chefs I prefer Flying Fish because the red snapper and the NY Strip are the most incredible things I ever ate!
