This past summer we stayed at HRH. We had 2 rooms and checked in about 4:30 in the afternoon. We didn't make any special requests on our ressies. I'm not even sure that requests is something that can be done at the Universal hotels. Unfortunately they put us in the longest hall in the last 2 rooms. It was so far from everything the bell hop asked who we had made mad. LOL!

How can I make sure we don't end up at the end of one of those long halls on our next trip? I actually didn't even enjoy my stay at HRH because it was so inconvienient. the rooms were very nice though.

I am defintely staying onsite this trip just not sure which hotel yet.
We will probably spend most of our time at IOA. We absolutely loved it! I have always enjoyed the original but man did IOA blow us away. Would it be best to stay at RPH if we plan to mostly visit IOA?

All opinions are greatly apreciated.

At check in, ask the desk clerk to show you the location of your room on a map of the hotel.

If it's not to your satisfaction, say so. Someone in your party might have a sore ankle, a bum hip, or other problem that would make a hike from the elevators a problem.;)

Don't know if this will work, but it's worth a try.
