Which Dessert party Should I attend and why?

Star Wars. It is the party offering the best view with time savings.

Illuminations is not hard to find a good view. As MK changes shows, I think the DP angle for the new projections may not be ideal.

If you like Star Wars, do that one for the reasons _auroraborealis_ mentions.

If you aren't into Star Wars, I would do the MK Plaza View dessert party. You will have a great view of the fireworks (head toward the back of Plaza Gardens by the back railing), won't have to wait up to an hour for a good spot and will miss the stampede out of the park after the fireworks.

Star Wars. We have done all 3. We will never do the MK one again. Food wasn't that good and no adult beverages, and people were really pushy, rude, and grumpy. This was before the assigned seating and no standing. The only good thing about the MK one is actual seats. I didn't even think the view was that great. Illuminations was good, but this was early on and the food has changed a lot. We will be doing Star Wars for the 3rd time in August. The food and drink are really good, and unless it's not crowded, it provides the best view. We are Star Wars fans and really enjoy the show, especially the original one; however, MK fireworks are my absolute favorite.

I agree with Star Wars. The viewing advantage is the most significant. Plus - booze! I have a hard time justifying $80 for dessert - but add in cocktails and I begin to see some value.

We did the Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party in February with Terrace view. That was my mom's choice, she wanted a seat. I would've been happy with the Garden Plaza View and it is actually a better view.

I almost went to the Star Wars Fireworks Dessert Party on my own (mom isn't a Star Wars fan), but the weather got ugly the night I planned to go (there were still tickets left day of). If it's still offered when I go again with my husband and my stepson, we will be doing it.
