Opinion: the best sit down meal in HS?

I like Sci-Fi best because the atmosphere is so cool

We've eaten at all of them...
Sci Fi,
Brown Derby,
Mama Melrose,
50's Prime Time,
Hollywood and Dine


The only we really like is Sci Fi.
Fun Atmosphere you can't beat.

Mama comes in 2nd. Good you'll like it.

50's was ok but our server wasn't that great.

H&V was a fun place for character meal if your kids like Playhouse Disney.

Brown Derby...seemed over priced and almost tried to be more fancy that
it really was.

We always schedule a meal at MM and Sci-Fi each trip. We have found that the food and service at both of these to be better than some of the other TS locations at DHS.

Can you do the 50's prime time without the teasing? I am not sure I could take it thats why I have always avoided it.

I'm not comfortable with the teasing either - all but once we've had waitstaff who got the message and left us alone, but once we had someone who was downright rude - or at least it felt that way. We did not play along and also requested a different veggie due to an allergy she was so obnoxious we actually reported her to a manager on the way out. Have never reported wait staff in our many visits. Manger was very understanding...when the waitress realized we were speaking with the manager, she came over, acted innocent, asked why we left and said she was arranging for a veggie. We still left.

I would not eat there alone, but if you can find another DIS there at the same time, should be fine.
