The Radisson tells you to park in front of the hotel, but you can park anywhere on the property in all reality. The parking lot in front (or anywhere on their property is not "secured" other than it is in a busy lot). The back lots (by the conference center and on the north side) have a stop bar activated by your room key to get in, but the lots can be accesed from adjacent properties without obstruction anyway.
I have parked my car there for more than 40 room nights (not consecutively of course) without incident. That doesn't mean that my car was safe, or that anything could have gone wrong.
Likewise, parking at the port (which is more secure - inside a fenced compount) will prevent anything from happening (and vandalism and thefts have occured in port parking too).
That is why you have insurance!
