We are planning a family trip for Easter 2008(Sun-Friday) and so far we have:
DH, DS9,DS9 and me and 2 of my sisters. Others have been invited-but only other one that is intrested is my brother/Sil/2neices who live in Edgewater FL(so they usually come over for the day)..I am very nervous that the ones that have confirmed will stay confirmed...and the ones that have said no, will not change their mind at the last minute.

My Points status
85 points left for 2008 and 175 for 2009- my home resort is SSR. I am thinking 2 stuidos(one with the 08 points, and one with the 09 points-so that if one has to be cancelled, it can be, then the 08 points banked poss.) And perhaps 1 night on cash(incase I am left holding the bag on points-I will then try to get waitlisted with the points/cancel the cash night.

Anyone have any other ways of looking at this or any other advice. Thanks

On a scale of 1 - 10 what would you say your stress level is at this point of not knowing what to do next. Now guess what your stress level is going to be 10 months from now. Abandon ship.... pirate:

Rob...you are so smart and I have been trying to get some firm responses since Thanksgiving when I first proposed this venture...but my parents aren't getting any younger, and their grand children are getting older by the minute...so batten down the hatches, full steam ahead:sail:

I guess worst comes to worst I will be in possession of an extra stuido for Easter week...hey:rolleyes1:idea:

We have just returned from our trip with me & DH; DSis-DBIL-DNiece8;DSis-DBil-DNephew9 & DNephew6.

I worried for months that they wouldn't go. They did. We had a good time. It was a different trip, but enjoyable just the same. BE FLEXIBLE!

Just know that they won't change their personalities once they get there.

If they aren't crazy about paying Disney prices before they go, they won't be after they get there. Needless to say, after I
begged them to make ADR's from the 180 day mark on, and made arbitrary ADR's, I had to turn around and cancel them.

I even planned a romantic Rose & Crown Illuminations Anniversary Dinner for DSIS & DBIL. We took it, non-anniversary - inside and late, while they went to Longhorn on 192. I thought they were nuts for constantly leaving property, vice versa.
