Opinion...MK Oct 28 or 30

Just booked a trip, our first back in years, and I've been out of the loop so long, I don't trust my normal judgement and instincts when Disney planning! Lol!

Looking for opinions for which would be our best bet for MK for seeing the new evening fireworks (I loved Wishes, so am anxious to see the new one). We are planning 2 days at that park, so would likely do another day with morning EMH, or just regular hours. Most days of our trip there are MNSSHP (which we aren't planning this time, did that last time). These are the only 2 days with regular hours and the regular evening fireworks.

Touring Plans shows MK to be a crowd level 6 on Saturday, with hours 9am-9pm. Monday is crowd level 5, but hours are 9am-9pm with EMH till 11pm. I'm torn.

Opinions?

It sounds like you're staying on site so I'd do MK on Monday and take part in the evening emh

Yes, sorry, should have mentioned that. Staying on site, so could do emh, but I have a 10 yr old that might not make it that late to make it worthwhile.

The Halloween parties tend to make the non-party days at the MK very crowded. Both Saturday, Oct 28th and Monday, Oct 30st will be very crowded. Monday tends to be the busiest day of the week at MK year round. So either day you choose will be crowded. I suggest that you go with the day that works out best for your schedule.

You could easily flip a coin on this one. I'd probably make my decision on when/where I could get the FP I wanted. If you grab a FOP at AK for Saturday, then do MK on Mon. If you grab FOP for Mon, then do MK on Sat. If FOP isn't in the plans, then I'd do MK on the day I get FP for what I want when I want it.

We were planning on doing MK on Oct 30th.. then I realized it's in between 2 party nights and it's a Monday and EMH. I think it's going to very crowded that Monday night.
