Well I did my research and found icky icky bad bad bad horrible reviews-- and a very few "ok" reviews on the Hawthorn Suites(Anaheim) so I am considering a change -- AGAIN!!

So we have 5 people- 2 adults, 6, 9, 15 yr old(prefer seperate bed for the 15 yr old)
I am currently looking at
BW Park Place Inn (2 doubles and a roll away-- Disney Travel will NOT book it as a mini suite with those sleeper coaches they have-- grrrrrrrr)

OR

Anaheim Fairfiled Inn by Marriot
(2 double beds and -per web sites- love seat/ sleeper sofa in every room)

Cost is about the same either way just want opinions--
revies on MousePlanet were about the same either way so just fishing for some new ones I guess - espicially recent stays and how big the rooms are in comparison

THANKS!!

We were not very happy at the Fairfield, some others do like it. The walk from the Fairfield to the park gates is significantly longer than BWPPI. I haven't stayed at this BW so I can't comment on the rooms, but I rarely hear bad things about it.

You know, there are other travel agencies that specialize in Disney travel....

:) Hello funnygarcia!
We stayed at the Fairfield last May and I can tell you that I would not stay there again UNLESS we stayed in the Newer area of the hotel.
Nobody bothered to tell us that they have an OLDER part of this hotel, so we had to learn the hard way.

It is a very pretty hotel and they have a nice snack/cafe area on the third floor. Very handy.
The front desk was nice as first, then they were very rude when the shifts changed.
We had the 800 area of rooms, we had 2 connecting rooms. Stay away from that area!! The rooms were old, smelly, and falling apart!

All in all... I think you might be alright if you ask for the NEWER rooms.
I have heard better things at the Park Place Inn. We are going again this May and we are trying the Carousel Inn this time.

Have Fun!!:pinkbounc

We stayed at the Fairfield in October 1998, and it was fine then. But a lot can change in 3-1/2 years! I stayed at the WestCoast Anaheim in September 2000, thanks to Priceline. It's not as close as the other two, but the shuttle ran twice an hour, and the hotel was beautiful!
