Not one, but TWO (2) lies in this chapter...and nobody got them, even with Admiral Ackbar doing his best to warn you.

The Avengers monorail thing was nothing but evil misdirection. We tried to catch it a couple of times, both on this evening and the following day, and always seemed to miss it on the rotation. And we didn't want to stand around the monorail station all day until it came around. Luckily, the fact that we tried was good enough for the boys and there were no meltdowns. Whew!

Lie #1: We didn't have a good view of the dessert table at Kona Cafe. We were tucked into the corner by the railing separating the restaurant from the lobby. The picture I posted was supposed to be a hint--from that vantage point, there are no tables--it's the main walkway in and out of the restaurant.

Lie #2: I had to help Julie put the kids in bed before she'd even think of letting me run off with the camera that night at AKL. She wasn't going to take that bulllet for me.

i did think about that one, but i was sure that you would be able to weasel out of it...i pulled out the but hun, by the time i run up and get our mugs full the kids will be ready and you will be ready for a drink so i better go now.

If we'd had the refillable mugs, I guarantee I would have tried that. 25% is not a bad success rate at all!

Keep trying! And I was having a grand old time amusing myself by finding Ackbar pictures to post. Hope you had as much fun with it as I did. Then again, I'm very easily amused.

I wouldn’t have gotten to either of those. I’ve been to Kona but can’t speak for the view at every table. As for getting the kids to bed… We have only the one and Tam would have been very happy to let me roam the halls so long as I brought back drinks.

Enjoyed the Ackbars. I suspect that we’ll be seeing him again in the near.
But, to believe or not to believe… that is the question.
