Opening time question

Does Sea World really open at the advertised time, or do they open early like Disney? When we are going, they are supposed to open at 9:00. Will they open earlier than that?

the earliest I've seen the gates open is around 8:50. but we're lazy on the weekends, so we usually show up around 10.

Last time we got there at opening time they opened on the dot after everyone had joined in the singing of the National Anthem!

When we were at SW the week before Easter (so compare a really busy week), the gates were open at 8:30 a.m. but you were stopped at a roped area inside. None of the attractions were opened until 9:00 a.m.

When we went in January we arrived around 9am and had to wait in line before the windows opened.

I am not sure if they still do it, but the bridge across the lake does not open till 10 AM?? I can remember waiting for them to open it , but we very rarely get there at park opening to avoid the crowds going in.
