Opening the Kitchen at Crystal Palace

Hi Everyone, I am just wondering if this is done each day . Friends went in March and had 8:05 ressie for Breakfast and they were picked to be the family who opened the kitchen . they got to be first in line - the characters helped make special frosted pancakes with their kids - I had never heard of that and when my friend told me I was like " REALLY _ HOW COOL " so I now am holding 8:05 ressies for the CP on June 20th and am wondering how many of you knew they did this and does anyone know if its everyday ! I don't know about breakfast, but my DD was selected Chef of the Day at lunch. We were first to enter for lunch and DD got to decorate a brownie with all of the Pooh characters. She also got a chef's hat and we got some great pictures.

Our son was chosen as Chef of the Day for lunch at CP in early April 2003 -- I think the "winning" combination was that we had an 11:30 PS, we were the second name on the PS list but the first family, and that we were the first family to check in for that time. Try checking in early and asking if anyone has been chosen yet. We were not informed that we were "it" until our name was called first (there was a crowd of us waiting on the porch for the lunch session to open up) -- it was a complete surprise. The was absolutely a highlight of the trip for all of us!

Ooh I have an 8:05 PS at CP in June. That would be too cool

Looks like its something they do often.. I will ask when i check in and hopefully we will be chosen.. Michelle
