Hey yall! I'm so excited! Opening night for Guys and Dolls is tonight! I'm on crew, but i wish i was in cast (evil directors lol)

I wish I was on stage crew for our play (this year it's 42nd Street and its in May), but it's too late now. working on a play (acting or stage crew) looks like so much fun!

Don't get me started about musicals......

We're doing Fiddler on the Roof and opening night is in less than a month, we dont even have half the show down, our practices keep getting cancelled because it's so cold, and Golde (the leading lady) refuses to sing "Do You Love Me?" because she doesn't like the boy who plays Tevye(the lead male) and she thinks the whole musicals stupid

I'm just the nice little matchmaker (Yente) who makes no noise what-so-ever. Tehe.

My show, Pippin, doesn't open till the weekend of March 25th but it's reallly good already. It's a weird show, but a lot of fun to work on. The only thing I have to complain about is that the Leading Player can't sing and has a major ego problem!

last night was great!!!! and we get to do it again tonite!! yay!!! i love play season, its so much fun. and who cares about the directors, and look whos in the cast neway, do u even like half of the people??? crew is more fun ne way. but then again i love crew and always have. but performing is fun to and ive done both.

Oh and Amy- The Crew paints the stuff and one of the directors n this other guy makes it.. Painting is FUN!

Our musical, "Carnival", doesn't open until April 22 and we have these major cast issues....like half the cast was fired the other day! So yeah it's not doing that well but I hope it will get better. I was lucky enough to be casted as a show girl/chorus member!

our musical "Oliver" opens the last weekend in march...i go to an all girls high school so its weird doing basically an all boys play but we couldn't get the rights to Annie. but its ok because we have guys comming from and all boys high school to be in the play and its comming along really well

Well, it;s over! And it went pretty darn well! Almost no mistakes! YAY!

...but im sad its over... no more saturday practices! (those were the best!)

it shouldnt be over, it went entirely too quickly!! but we have next year to look forward to, or not considering all the good people on cast and crew are leaving! but it was fun this year. i wish it wasnt over. at least this year we can get a video. g/l to everyone else.

Ahhhh I am soo exicted to for our show.. We do something called Rock and Roll. It is where they pick a theme and they sing oldies having to do with that theme.... This year it is cruising on the love boat.... They are sings songs like American Pie, Baracoda (sp?) all all that stuff. But they arnt singing Cruisin' cause we sang that 2 years ago.... Anyways Tech week (which is 2 weeks long) starts MONDAY!!! and we still have the rest of the sound system to wire... FREAKING OUT!!!!

PS this is also a really good show to do so if you want so info for your school to do something like this let me know... It is the biggest thing that our school does all year... everyone and there mother wants to be in it!

Our musical "Once On This Island" is getting there. We have two weeks till we open, and the set is just about done. Our rented lighting and sound came today, so I was busy sorting that out. Crew is the best! Our actors have HUGE egos. Our set is amazing this year, as always, and we have spent alot of money. Well I'll let you all know how it goes.
