** Opening Day Pricing Summer 2022: Wish **

While we're waiting--are you hoping for a 3 night or a 4 night, and why? I have a bunch of possible dates and I keep waffling about the length. The 3 nighter/weekend dates are tempting because we could do a long school weekend in Sept. and save some $$$, but I'd like to try all dining rooms and lumiers or Palo which means a 4 nighter.

We are doing the 4 night. While we go to WDW yearly (or more frequently some years), we are not regular cruisers. Before kids, my wife and I took 3 cruises (Disney Dream, a carnival, and a princess) and loved them. We haven't cruised since having kids though. That said, we want to get as much out of the cruise as we can. My kids will be 6 and 3 when we go, and we don't know when we'll go again. 3 nights feels like a quick trip whereas 4 gives it some time for us to feel 'at home' and get to see more without rushing.

We'll also probably stay a few days at WDW before the trip as our APs will still be active until August 14th 2022.

I hear you on wanting to try the new restaurants and Palo. We absolutely would if we didn't have the kids with us. We have never done any sort of 'kids club' drop off with them, and perhaps will consider it to have brunch at Palo or Enchante if that's offered (haven't looked into it yet; not sure we'll be comfortable but we'll see).

After the stress and time booking the DVC cruise, I decided to use a DU TA this morning. She was terrific and I got the cabin I wanted without the frustration of doing it myself! B2B booked!

On the website it is showing all Concierge cabins booked for the 4-night cruises.

3 night for us. We had already planned a couple of other vacations in 2022 before seeing the video on the Wish and realizing we all reallllly want to go on it. So I am wanting to conserve vacation days.

How long does it take to get your quote from DU? I saw above someone already had theirs. Haven’t heard from my DU TA yet...

3 hr 40 min of waiting and I couldn’t take it anymore. No cruise is worth listening to that music for 4 hours for.

I received an email at 6:22am PT this morning with my quote. First time using them so I'm not sure what is typical.

took me 2 hours from opening bell. completed deposit etc in the next 45 minutes. no stress at all.

I finally was able to get the DVC number linked on Cruise Line's end, after the agent had to wait on hold an hour for a supervisor. Once that was done, did get booked. Not a lot of choice for what I wanted (4A, June 20 sailing), but did get something for July.

Glad to hear it for you! I put in the request last week and got a generic-ish response with no response to my follow-up questions, so I really don't know that they are 'trying' for me today, so I've been trying my best on the phone...

We are also doing the same B2B 😊

At at the 4 hour mark on hold... wowza!

As for why I did not use a TA, I just don't have one I am comfortable trusting to make decisions in my best interest. For example, I tried to use Dreams Unlimited once, was very specific we wanted all five of us to be in a single family verandah stateroom for 5 on the Magic. Her response "Unfortunately, Disney does not have any staterooms that can accommodate 5 in one room, here is a quote for two connecting verandah staterooms" (which of course was significantly more expensive than a single family stateroom). I could see for myself on the Disney website that there was plenty of availability for family stateroom for 5, so she either didn't know what she was talking about, or was lying to me to get a bigger commission. So it's a trust factor for me.

Something I was thinking about, about that huge gap between first people able to book, the platinum 25+ and the general public, is it going to be like that for all cruises from now on? Only the Wish? Only the first cruises of the Wish?
Sincerely happy for everyone that booked what they wanted, I still find it way too long for Silver that cannot find many availabilities when booking Concierge.

Where can you see if those accounts are connected please?

Oh noooooooo! I am at 2h 54 mins on my current round
Good luck! I dialed back in because, apparently, I am a masochist.

Where can you see if those accounts are connected please?
If I go to the DCL site, under My Account --> My Profile --> Membership & Passes I can see my DVC membership ID listed under my Castaway Club membership information. There are links at the top of the page to associate the account with a DVC membership if yours does not appear to be linked yet.
