Opening day at Flower & Garden?

We will be staying on property the week Flower & Garden begins. We already have an EPCOT reservation for opening day.

Is EPCOT typically packed the first day of a festival? Is it best to avoid EPCOT on this day?

I think sometimes the bloggers and vloggers might pour in on day one, but that might be more of a food and wine fiasco

I was at Flower and Garden on the first day a few years ago. It was definitely more busy than when I went to that park another day later in the week. A lot of shoppers and bloggers in stores buying or videoing the merchandise. Also a lot around the actual displays or at the food booths. Again taking pics and videos of everything. Since that visit, I now try to arrive a couple days after F&G opens so I miss that opening day chaos.
