Opening Ceremonies?

At WDW I know that MK has an opening ceremony where the characters arrive on the train, etc.

Does DL have an opening ceremony? How about CA?

DL will be opening at 8am the weekend we're there. I guess that means we need to be at the gate by 7:45 am?

What about CA? It doesn't open until 10am. Should one get there by 9:30 with the hopes they've opened early?

No, there is no opening ceremony with the characters arriving by train. At DL, there's a countdown and usually the DL band comes out to play. Sometimes there's characters out there, but more likely you won't see them until you are past the train station.

I recommend getting to the gate by 7:30. If you wait until 7:45 you'll find a pretty long line and it could take as much as 10 minutes to get through the line.

DCA's gates open at 9:30 and Soarin' is open at that time. The rest of the park opens at 10:00.
