did you know that if you don't tell people the answers to your quest you are a bad quest owner?? me neither!! till today!! who knew right?? I can understand people wanting hints because the quest was a bit difficult if you have never been to DLR more than once... so i give hints that practically give answers away not to mention most of the pictures on the tasks have the answers right on them... and i'm told that i'm a bad owner simply because i won't tell them the answer directly! ok... rant over thank you for reading...

Just wait until they finish your quest and tell you, "Your quest was dumbo."
That happened to me on Sunday night, just before it finished. Of course, the
jerk left before I could come back with a snappy answer.

I had someone ask for help, too. I think it comes with the territory. Hang in there.

Aww, don't let them get you down. It would be cheating to tell the answers actually, like playing favorites among players. You would not want to be accused of that. Especially if you want best quest room!

That is why I did not buy a quest machine. I thought about getting it to trade credits between characters, but then there is whole values thing I did not want to get into...............sigh!

It will get better!

It amazes me how so many people would rather beg for an answer than guess expecially when all it does it make you go back answer the last three tasks over again (I realize this does not apply when one of the three previous tasks requires you to play a game or something similar).

I made a summer quest in the summer and some random person told me my quest was bad just because I told him the answer after he came to my room and asked me..well how can I tell him the answer as he's playing it? What kind of quest would that be now..?
Dont worry, after you run a quest there will always be that lot who might not like it but there is always the lot that love your quest

Open the room, then put an Alice Ride wall in front of you so you hide. They'll be all "owner owner?" and you won't say a word

I do have to say that you should get a friend to do your quest to make sure you don't have any bad questions/answers...I did one where they said to say something like "This quest rocks" when you really had to say "This quest rocks!" but who knew you needed to add the !. They also had you say the name of somebody (themselves?) for a task, but unless that person is your friend or in the room, you cannot do that. That is a bad quest.

In my case I go ahead and tell them the answers and let them know I will all along the quest. But, then again every time they have to come back through its just going to make their ending time that much longer. lol
It's a pretty good bet they won't place in the top twenty.

What I don't like is when they ask if I would stop the quest so I can give them some item on the quest! And they always need it so bad, too. Not!

Unfortunately there are people everywhere, including VMK, who seem to think that their entire role in life is to criticise others. I've only recently started opening guest rooms, and I've had a number of people come to my room, say something like "this is dumbo" or "my room is better" then disappear. I have no problem with them not liking my rooms, I mean, a person sized fish bowl is a fairly random idea, I just don't see why they need to tell me! I'm a big girl now, and these kind of things roll off my back, but I'm just worried for the younger and / or more 'fragile' (sorry, couldn't think of a better word) players. Those kind of personal skills will get these people a long way in life

You'llbeinmyheart, just ignore them, I'm sure you did a great quest (sorry I didn't get a chance to try it!). Their objection probably wasn't with the quest itself, but more the fact that they didn't get the fastest time!

lol thnx guys i just ended up making it a quest for friends only the only real reason i made this thread was for a rant but glad i got some tips lol
