Open Toed Shoe Pledge...Are You In??

:lmao:
I'll sign.:thumbsup2

Now I am off to google 'foot soup.' I hope I don't regret it....

I love it!

Although I can't help the foot pudge. My feet are just plain fat, and have been my whole life.

i tried to copy and paste this to my facebook but it is too long !! dern!!! too funny!!

Post it in a note and tag all your friends...That is what I did:rotfl:

Love IT!!!

And to the person who posted bout Cajun Shrimp:thumbsup2 Doesn't it rock on tan toes!!

I pledge to not give a rat's behind about what other people think about my feet.

I will promise if I wear flip flops that I will ensure that they actually flip and flop, making the correct noise while walking and I will swear NOT to slide or drag my feet while wearing them.

:lmao: I hate it when people do this! I mean half the fun of wearing flip-flops is the sound.

Good gracious! I hope nobody is that concerned about the tootsies of others. PErhaps I should just toss my sandals out and spare the world.

No, keep your sandals. We're members of the Cute Barn Girl Club and we don't judge in our club. The upkeep of your toes is between you and your shoes.

Heck yeah! My horses get a pedicure every 6 weeks like clockwork. I cannot remember the last time I got a pedi...wait no...it was last October before my cousins wedding.

I can't believe how old I was before I found out how really good a French pedicure makes feet look in open toed sandals! Particularly in the summertime.

I was given a certificate to a day spa for pedicure, manicure...

I was shown to "the chair" and my shoes were tucked away...

"Please put your feet in..." So, of course I plunk my feet in the swirling water. ::yes::

:eek::scared1::eek::scared1:

I snatched them out so fast my knees bounced off my nose!

HOTHOTHOTHOTHOT. My feet were instantly red.

"OH! TOO HOT???" Uhhhhh, yep.

It went downhill from there. Sawed my toes...(I think they call it filing, but given the way she was using the file, the edge of it was sawing into the tops of my toes) clipped my nails too short, cut my cuticule and the side of my toe...

I'm telling you by the time I limped out of there, scaled, and bleeding... I decided pedicures are not for me.

So, go ahead and look at my home trimmed, clean feet tucked into my Tevas, if it makes you happy! :rotfl:

:lmao: I hate it when people do this! I mean half the fun of wearing flip-flops is the sound.

That sound is so annoying, and I live in Florida and have to hear it all year long. Ugh!!! But hey.... to each his own. I do enjoy a good pedi, but I really am a low maintainance girl. I get them as a treat to myself, and never really thought of how they may benefit others. I never seem to notice other people's feet (unless they are wearing some kind of shoe that makes noise with each step. :goodvibes), so I guess it never occurred to me that others would care about mine.

From a Google search:

Foot Soup is a magical blend of aromatherapy oils, sea salts, and other moisturizers. Soak your feet it in and get the best pedicure going.

:thumbsup2

My hubby can point out a girl wearing OPI Cajun Shrimp color on her toes from a mile away!

I have been getting pedicures since Mardi Gras, I tend to slack off in the winter, but keep my pumice stone handy and manicure set nearby so at least the footsies look pretty till I start every spring. I don't paint my own toes or fingers since I can't make it look as good as the ladies at the spa .

I love that color! Isn't it the best?

Thank you smschex, I came back on this thread just to see if someone knew! :goodvibes

Did I see that we the "public" can buy OPI brand nail polish? I was under the impression that only professionals could purchase it from retailers that sold directly to the professionals... but seems like I saw an advertisement at Target or somewhere the other day. Did my eyes deceive me?

Do you think OPI is all that, or it is just a bunch of hype?

We've always been able to buy it. I have tons of bottles and I just bring one of my own to my pedicure.:thumbsup2

I prefer OPI, but I'm sure there are other brands that are just as good.

LMAO.. that is awesome!!

And for those of you that think others don't notice your tootsies , trust me they do even if they shouldn't !

This is funny to me...normally I post a funny comment how its getting close to that "time of year" where u will be seeing people's feet. I am one of those people who think all feet are ugly, well not cute little baby feet. Right now, my 5 yr old daughters feet are the only ones Ill rub and kiss;)

As much as I hate feet(even my own)I can't help BUT look at them inpublic. I dont why:confused3

Actually when Im at a beach or pool, I dont stare as much because nobody there has shoes on..BUT...at the mall, or waiting at line in a restaurant.. I just Have to look..

I dont care if u have freshly showered/manicured tootsies...feet are so gross..and I find that men's feet are more gross then ladies feet LOL...

Count me in!

I saw OPI in a retail store this weekend. It was either at the Dubya or one of the chain pharmacies. I had DH with me, so I didn't stop. Didn't feel like explaining that it lasts longer than the usual store brands.

You can find OPI at Target, but I usually buy it at Ulta. They often have some (last season's colors) on clearance, and $3 a bottle is a much better deal than $8! I do find it lasts longer than other polish.

(I've also seen it at Trade Secret at the mall.)

JcPenney salon usually has a buy one get one free sale a couple times a year. That's when I stock up. I swear by their clear top coat polish as the reason I can get my toes to looking so good between pedicures.

Having my first pedicure of the spring season tomorrow for the gorgeous sandal weather this weekend.
