Open or closed toe sandals for July?

Can't decide between Teva Tierra open toed, or Keen Newport H2 or Keen Venice H2 closed toed sandals. For walking all day and to wear at the water parks. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I would alternate this pair with a pair of sneakers. Trying to determine how necessary closed toe would be! Or should I get two pair of sandals and leave the sneakers at home?

Thanks!

I always trade between sneakers and sandals. In July I think open toe would be the way to go!

I live in Orlando and live in flip-flops (orthaheels, look like normal flips but great support especially if you pronate). I would much rather walk all day in those than sneakers. I say open sandals all the way.

I just wouldn't bring anything new though as you don't want break-in blisters.

Thank you! I love open sandals, too, but I also love my toes...hoping I won't be clunking them into things or under people's feet. ;)

And yes, most definitely plan on breaking them in first. Made that mistake years ago on a different trip. Ugh.

Another vote for open toes. I can't stand tennis shoes in the heat or if they get wet.

going against popular vote here, but keens. a lot of people pushing strollers not watching for toes in front of them.

Ha, that's what I was worried about. Thanks for chiming in!

FTR, I got both Teva and Keens sandals to bring, one closed and one open toe. Think I'll save the open toe for the water parks!
